VP of Partner Relations – Jim Stephenson
A second generation Arizona native, Jim has spent a career in various roles in the IT industry. He started in hardware sales, moved into managing a retail PC parts store, then to customer
support, server configuration, and ITIL-based help desk management for Choice Hotels prior to transitioning to IT sourcing/recruiting for PetSmart.
The prevailing theme of all these roles has been Customer Service. Jim believes customer service is the key to success for all businesses. When one weighs the cost of customer acquisition versus customer retention, it becomes clear why it is so important to keep customers satisfied and to keep customer experience as a main focus.
Jim has attended many IT service management based events, including FUSION and the National HDI Conference. He believes workshops, conference curriculum classes and networking with other IT professionals are key to growing a career and leading other IT professionals.
Jim enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two young sons, vacationing, bicycling, college football and the outdoors.
